Republic Capital Ship

The heavy hitter of the Republic Navy. Roughly 1.28 the size of an Imperial Star Destroyer, Republic Defiant Class ships are the defenders of the republic. Sporting impressive shields, 10 medium cannons, 8 heavy cannons, 8 long range cannons and nearly 2 dozen torpedo launchers, these ships are are a match for anything the Sith Empire can come up with. In addition these ships also carry a small contingent of fighters as well as several other smaller ships. One Capital ship is always selected to receive certain upgrades to increase the ships effectiveness; this ship becomes the flag ship of the republic navy. The current flag ship of the Republic is the Capital ship Shield and Sword.
