Half Baked, Full Bellied

Here another commission I bought from the splendid The story is my CFGs Zoey and Erica were hanging out together getting high and got a major, major case of the munchies.  Well, several dozen snacks later and they are still blitzed out of their minds and are now completely stuffed.  Now the twist is, they've been smoking catnip the whole time which means that Erica, being a cat girl, is the only one of the two who is actually high.  Zoey is experiencing a sort of "phantom high". See, she isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the crayon box. So her simply believing she is high is causing her to unconsciously act the part. So yeah, not much more too it than that.

So yeah. I'm pretty happy with how the coloring turned out but not so sure about the shading. How it is most of the time really.  I do think the smoke effects was a nice choice; I originally wasn't going to add it.  Also of note is that I make Erica's tattoo bigger.  I always imagined her having the smaller tattoo seen in early pictures since before she became a cat girl but then expanding over time after since she didn't care as much about her appearance since she believed herself to be "ugly".

Oh, and for those of you interested, whats on the tv is a screenshot from the 1952 PSA "Duck and Cover" staring Bert the turtle.  I thought it'd be funny and the short is now in the public domain to I figured, why not.
